Avatar World: City Life is a safe space to roleplay whatever you want. Players can dress up as multiple characters, perform activities in various locations, and interact with others. The interesting thing is that the game has no rules or story to follow, allowing you to let your imagination run wild, but there are also many people who don't know where to start. This article will walk you through everything you need to know about Avatar World City Life.
Instructions for playing Avatar World: City Life
Create an avatar
When you start, you can immediately explore the city and control the characters. Or you can create an avatar by tapping the character creator at the top right of the map. If you don't want to choose, you can play as the whole family because Avatar World allows you to customize up to 3 characters in the free version.
Phone application
When entering any building, you will see a phone button on the bottom right of the screen. It has two active apps: Contact List and Food Delivery.
Contact list
In the contact list are all the characters in Avatar World, both player-created and NPCs. Tapping their icon will summon them to your location. To return everyone to their original location, go to the map and select the Reset button in the top left corner.
Food delivery
The food delivery app allows you to order food from stores in town. Although the game does not use currency, there is a limit to the number of orders.
Interact
Drag objects and food into your character's hands to interact with them. There will be options of what you can do at the bottom left of the screen. If it's clothing, drag it to the appropriate body part and it will switch to whatever your character is wearing.
You can also interact with some NPCs if you drag your avatar close to them. However, to play with most characters, you can choose to react using the emote button in the bottom left corner.
Train station
The station is most likely where the first interactions take place as this is where your avatars go after you create them. When you drag your character outside the train, you will notice a busker. This character is one of the NPCs you can interact with. Around the station are waiting areas with several vending machines, most of which work immediately when you touch them.
Hotel
Tap the back button to exit the station or any place. You will then be taken to the map. In the far left part is the hotel, which has a swimming pool and a grill you can cook on near the entrance.
On the first floor of the building there is a living room, a cleaner and a pianist. There is also a kitchen where you can play the role of a chef with full cooking utensils and ingredients.
Home
Near the hotel is a residential house inhabited by three characters. This could be where you settle if you want. In addition, the house also has a pet cat that you can control, but its actions are limited.
There is a room in the middle of the house. You will also see a pair of scissors marked there. Place it in your avatar's hand, along with a water bottle or cardboard box, to craft a DIY.
Basketball yard
When you swipe a little to the right of the map, you'll see more places to explore. One of those places is the basketball court. You can play street basketball by giving the ball to the character you want to play with.
Clinic
Want to play as a doctor or nurse? Come to the clinic. It has a reception area where patients can line up, get a number and wait to be called. There is also a mask dispenser for those who want to feel safer.
After speaking with the receptionist, you can place your profile picture in the check-in area. There are many hospital tools that you can play with. Once you've finished your tests, go to the pharmacy. The counter will have prescriptions that you can place in the pill generator. It will produce pills that you can take with you.
School
This school has many areas, with the main part being the classroom. There, you can sit and listen to the teacher lecture or play with some toys in the back. When you leave the room, you will be taken to the lobby and onto the playground. You can draw on cement with chalk and play some sports.
Football pitches
On the soccer field, you can put someone at the goalpost to play the goalkeeper role. They will prevent anyone on the field from taking a shot. You can form teams and play.
Racetrack
To the right of the playground is the racetrack. You can put three runners in the starting position, but you can only pull one person to run at a time. Near the finish line is a podium for the winners to pose after the race.
Other buildings
There are small buildings near the school. The first is the yoga center, where the characters can spend time meditating and exercising. In addition, there is also a barber shop to change the characters' hairstyles, and a ballet class room to become a ballerina.
Shopping
The largest building in town is the shopping mall, which has three floors, but currently only two floors are open. On the first floor, there is a clothing store and another place for hairdressing. There is also a makeup area where characters can sit and randomly apply makeup. If you want more fun, go to the second floor. You'll find an arcade game room with claw machines, 3D printers, photo booths, and skateboards.
Fashion shops
On the south side of the shopping center are shops displaying different styles of clothing. The first store was a punk-themed store that sold hats. Next to it is a sneaker display area with many colorful shoe models that you can own.
Grocery store
When you want to eat, go to hotdog or pizza shops near shopping malls. You can also manage these places.
Outdoor area
Avatar World has several outdoor locations for characters to relax and enjoy the fresh air. There's a campground with some friendly wildlife, but you can't interact with them like you can with pets.
There is a place for water sports where you can fish, surf, boat, go on slides and jump on an underwater trampoline. You can also dress like a diver and dive underwater in the rightmost part of the river.
