Adjusted health regeneration and Ki loss
When starting Rise of the Ronin for the first time, people will be able to choose between three difficulty settings: Dawn, Dusk and Twilight. This difficulty setting can be adjusted at any time, but the actual difficulty setting is more nuanced than that.
If you’re satisfied with the current difficulty setting but find yourself not recovering enough or losing too much Ki in battle, you can do so individually in the Settings menu. To do this, go to System in the main menu, then go to Game Settings. The first three options are where health regeneration, Ki loss, or general difficulty mode can be adjusted.
Pay attention to Ki supply
In the initial combat tutorial, Rise of the Ronin will introduce a concept called Ki. Similar to stamina in many other games, Ki is available energy and it is used up when the player attacks, blocks, dodges, sprints, swims underwater, or uses the glider.
