Chilla’s Art is a small independent game studio, consisting of two brothers, known for releasing classic short-lived Japanese horror games. Chilla’s Art has developed and published on Steam over 15 classic Japanese short horror games in their main line, of which the most notable games include The Convenience Store and The Closing Shift. Additionally, they released and removed The Bathhouse due to issues surrounding the game.

Before the main line of games, this studio developed and published several games (no tags [Chilla’s Art] in game names, such as Evie), including the first four games released in 2018 and 2019. However, none of these games achieved significant popularity or fame.

Shinkansen 0 |新幹線 0号 is a horror game about a man who is facing unusual things on a bullet train. Late one night, the man was traveling on the Shinkansen (bullet train) to Tokyo. On the train, he met a boy who wanted to play a game with him. The boy told the man that the Shinkansen had many abnormalities, and his mission was to find out what abnormalities were in the train car he was sitting in. When he reaches his destination, he will stop the train and end this nightmare once and for all.

The Convenience Store |夜勤事件 is a Japanese horror game about a female college student working the night shift at a local convenience store. She has to handle many customers and carry out various tasks from her manager. But as the night passes, she discovers strange things start happening around the store. Is it all just a fantasy or is the store really haunted?

The Closing Shift |閉店事件 is a Japanese horror game about a girl who works the night shift at a local coffee shop. She has to handle many customers and perform many different tasks before closing the store. However, as time passes, she realizes that things seem to be going wrong around the cafe. Sensing stalking, the girl worried that she was also becoming a victim.

Stigmatized Property |事故物件 (Jiko bukken) is a horror adventure video game about a young girl named Sayaka, who is unexpectedly invited to her friend’s new apartment. Even though she was broke, her friend still had enough money to buy a new apartment thanks to the cheap rent. Although the apartment looks like a paradise for those who are starting a new life without their parents, is this place really what it seems?

[Chilla’s Art] Parasocial

Parasocial |パラソーシャル is a Japanese horror game about a streamer. The player takes on the role of a girl named Nina, a VTuber named Senra Nina, who makes a living by streaming games. Nina lives in the apartment alone but has her close friend Asuka to visit so she’s not too lonely.

Until one day, after completing a game sent in by a viewer, Nina’s face suddenly appeared. Things start to get very nasty when a hooded stalker starts hunting Nina and sends her more games to play, or else things will get worse.

[Chilla’s Art] Aka Manto

Aka Manto |赤マント is a classic horror game about a girl who is hunted by Aka Manto after two bullies force her to spend the night at an abandoned school.

On a dark and rainy night, two bullies (Maiko and Haruna) forced one of their classmates (the main character) to spend the night at an abandoned school. The reason is because the main character was “too close” to Maiko’s boyfriend. They said she wasn’t allowed to leave at midnight and that it would be fun.

However, when she enters the school, she discovers that the place is haunted by Aka Manto. A masked red-cloaked figure haunts public bathrooms or schools while asking victims if they want red or blue paper, before being killed. Can the player help the main character survive the night before Aka Manto’s pursuit or will they unfortunately meet a cruel fate?

Inunaki Tunnel |犬鳴トンネル is a horror game about a young photographer who decides to explore the abandoned Inunaki tunnels to become famous. A young man named Keiji Fujio, known online as “HorrorOfKeiji666”, is about to explore the abandoned Inunaki Tunnel, located near the Inunaki Reservoir in the town of Miyawaka in Fukuoka Prefecture. He must venture into the tunnel to become famous.

But based on real urban legends surrounding the area, the village is completely separate from the main part of Japan and is rumored to be haunted. The most important thing is that whoever enters will definitely never come back. As Keiji moves deeper into the tunnels, he will discover Inunaki village’s biggest secrets and why it may have been abandoned. But the big question is will he survive?
