How to unlock all Crossy Road secret characters
Some of Crossy Road’s secret characters are easier to find than others and even seem to appear out of nowhere. Additionally, players cannot unlock any characters with codes because the game does not provide a code system. Get ready to dive into the world of Crossy Road’s secret characters, listed below:
- Ace: Collect 50 burgers while playing Rocky (can run multiple times).
- Andy Sum: Play as Mallard and score 85% or higher on your current high score.
- Angler Fish: Cross the trench using any ocean character and return to two logs or a lily leaf. Then, jump off the log or lily.
- Ben Weatherall: Unlock and play as the Dark Lord and achieve 85% or higher of the current high score.
- Best in Show: Play as any dog character and eat all the dog food you can find (can run multiple times).
- Big Fancy Pig: Play as Blue and collect 5 green and white floating packs.
- Bones: Play as Paleontologist and collect fossils of each type (head, neck, trunk, legs and tail).
- Blinky: Play as Pac-Chicken, Pinky, Clyde or Inky and get crushed by Pac-Man.
- Cai Shen: Play as Fortune Chicken, The Three Deities, Fire Monkey, Xi, New Year’s Doll, Hot pot or Chinese Monster and collect 20 red envelopes (can be made in multiple rounds).
- Cat Lady: Play any cat except Scaredy Cat and eat 9 fish (can run multiple times).
- Chinese Monster: Catch up with the Chinese Monster while playing as New Year’s Doll.
- Choc Mallard: Play as Jelly Bear in the Jelly Bear level and have at least 4 Jelly Bears with you.
- Clown: Play as Hand and get about 15-20 coins (can run multiple times).
- Clyde: Play as Pac-Man and eat 7 or more ghosts in one session using energy pellets.
- Coconut Water: Play as Tourist and collect 5 coconut drinks in one run
- Crab: While playing, every time you enter a new area, swipe left and right about 50 times.
- Dragon Rider: Play as the Snow King (from the Pecking Order challenge) for about 10 rounds.
- Drop Bear: Play as any Australian character and at some point, the player will encounter Drop Bear sitting in a tree. Go to the tree and Drop Bear will jump at you.
- Gingerbread Man: Play as the Wolf mascot. While playing, the Gingerbread Man will appear and the player must jump on him.
- Gifty: Play as Festive Chicken until you find the snowy plain. Run to the Christmas tree in the center of the plain to make presents fly out.
- Halfling: Play as any New Zealand character. While playing, people can encounter a small golden ring spinning right on the ground. Jump on it about 10 times to collect the character.
- Hipster Whale: When it’s a whale floating in the river instead of on a log, jump on it.
- Iceberg: Dip all the Arctic mascots (including the Seal) in the river.
- Inky: Play as Pac-Man and accumulate 3000 points over multiple runs.
- Lady of the Lake: Play as any medieval mascot and walk until you find a river with sparkling water. Once you find it, jump in to collect the new character.
