How to develop a romantic relationship in Unicorn Overlord
Regardless of whether you are male or female, as Alain, you can marry almost all the characters you recruit in the game. You can ask them to marry you when you have maximum Rapport (relationship) with them and give them the Ring of Maiden. Your Rapport level with the character can be built through gift giving and combat.
Characters in the same squad will all get Rapport with each other, regardless of whether you win or lose the battle. But giving gifts is a much faster way to build Rapport. You can give someone a gift after taking them to the fortress and purchase gifts through Provisioners.
Another good way to earn more Rapport with characters is to spend some time with them at the Tavern. The meal will cost you some Gold, but it’s a good way to build relationships. You will find Pubs in major cities after liberating them.
Additionally, participate in Rapport Conversations at certain Rapport levels to get closer to them. You can check your Rapport level with your companions from the Rapport Menu in the Overworld Menu.
