In Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, it’s not difficult to find Changing Booths where you can change into different outfits for your favorite character. Each character’s alternate costumes are also quite easy to unlock, and you’ll get most of them just by playing normally.

How to change costumes in FF7 Rebirth

To change your outfit in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, you first need to go to the coastal resort town of Costa del Sol in Chapter 6 of the main story. Once the group reaches the Costa del Sol, they will need to find swimsuits to get to the beach and continue their mission. This will unlock the outfit change system.

After receiving your swimsuit for the party, you can visit the Changing Booths scattered throughout the Costa del Sol to change into your party outfit. You can also find Changing Booths at other major settlements and Chocobo Ranch in Grasslands and Junon. They have a special icon on the map so it’s not difficult to recognize.

After Costa del Sol, you will unlock beach outfits for each member of your group. At this point in the game, you will also have access to Shinra uniforms for Cloud, Aerith, and Tifa from the Junon parade and a sailor outfit for Barret during the post-Junon boat ride. Yuffie will also have access to her Moogle outfit from the Episode Intermission DLC.

Currently, there are only four costumes for each character in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, and each is unlocked through main story progression. The final outfit is available after achieving the Gold Saucer in Chapter 8 of the main story. You can change your outfits at any time in Rebirth, and they’ll even appear during cutscenes, so dress your favorite characters in their best outfits!
