Zoonomaly is a puzzle-based horror game set in an open-world zoo, which has been taken over by monsters. The player is tasked with entering this zoo, finding out the cause of the monsters entering and stopping it.
To complete this mission, everyone must collect key pieces scattered throughout the zoo. To find the key pieces, you must solve puzzles in the animal barn. Once you’ve collected all the fragments, you can assemble the master key to unlock the source of the monsters’ anomalies.

Zoonomaly monsters attack the player
Zookeeper
Zookeeper is the first monster gamers encounter in the game. This monster patrols the entire area and will try to kill the player if he notices you. Zookeeper has a long body, a bright smile and a cool looking hat.
Monster Fish
This mutant fish is located in pools of water inside areas players need to visit when searching for debris. Since it cannot reach players, it will not harm players unless they fall into the water.
Monster Rabbit
This is a giant mutant rabbit that will be encountered when the player is trying to get one of the key pieces. It will attempt to kill the player but it can be stopped by using Bloom o’Bang or levers in this area.
Monster Elephant
The monster elephant is also near one of the key pieces. You will see it near the fragment that requires the player to solve a maze puzzle. It will not be able to reach it if the player solves this puzzle correctly, and conversely, it will try to eat it if it gives the wrong answer.
Monster Giraffe
The monster giraffe looks very sad. It just stands near the gate and has nothing to do with the player. If you approach it or try to attack it with Bloom o’Bang, the Monster Giraffe will also try to kill the player.
Stick Spider
Stick Spider is in the building with the key piece. At first glance, it doesn’t look like a spider and will attack when it is touched.
Giant Fish
Giant version of Monster Fish, will see it in the giant aquarium at the zoo. Again, it cannot attack unless the player falls into the fish tank.
Monster Bear
Just like the spider, the Monster Bear looks very strange, like a larger and mutated version of Jerry Mouse, but in reality it is a very large bear. It will chase and attack if it notices the player.
Smile Cats
This is a big cat that is smiling and difficult to deal with. Players often think it doesn’t attack because it only looks in their direction. However, they actually exist as small versions of these smiling cats that run very fast towards the player and kill them.
Monster Monkeys
Monster Monkeys will come to the player with that cruel and deadly smile. If you see this monster, run immediately to save your life.
Monster Koala
Koalas are the cutest animals, but when mutated they look very scary. These monsters will follow players everywhere and destroy them as soon as they get the chance, so stay away from them.
Monster Smile Cat & Final Boss
If you think little laughing cats are scary, people won’t like this cat. Monster Smile Cat is a really cool larger version of Smile Cat and it is also the final boss in the game. Gamers will not see it until all the key pieces are collected.
