Supermarket Simulator is a relaxing simulation game that puts players in the task of running their own grocery store, making all the decisions that can lead to successful growth of the supermarket, attracting customers. Large customers with abundant income sources.
The game provides a very realistic representation of the supermarket business aspect. Players will experience all the challenges and obstacles they may encounter when opening a grocery store with countless products to sell and price.
When starting out, the new player is alone to do all the work, from placing orders, displaying products, setting prices to counting money. But after progressing, people can hire additional cashiers to assist with the checkout, helping players free their hands and do other jobs.
Currently, the only employees available for hire are cashiers, with a maximum of 4 people. In the near future, more staff will be brought in to restock items and allow the store to operate without the player having to do anything.
In this article, let’s learn how to hire more employees and automate the supermarket sales process in Supermarket Simulator.
How to hire employees in Supermarket Simulator
To hire employees in Supermarket Simulator, go to your PC and go to the tab Hiring at top. Then, select the employee you want to hire and that’s it. Upon hiring them, the employee will show up on the posting and start working immediately.
Remember that people cannot unlock employees right at the start of the game. Instead, players must first complete the job items themselves because each employee has specific requirements. Here are all the employees available to hire in Supermarket Simulator and the requirements to unlock hiring them:
Staff | How to unlock |
Cashier 1 | Complete 200 payments and the supermarket reaches level 10 |
Cashier 2 | Complete 400 payments and the supermarket reaches level 20 |
Cashier 3 | Complete 900 payments and the supermarket reaches level 30 |
Cashier 4 | Complete 1750 payments and the supermarket reaches level 50 |
However, there are more chores in the store and people will need more than just cashiers. The second important task is replenishing items. Unfortunately, currently, players can’t hire any staff other than cashiers, meaning people will have to restock items manually.
As a result, players cannot fully automate the grocery store process and will need to keep track of which items are out of stock and replace them quickly. Otherwise, everyone will be fined and lose money, causing Supermarket Simulator to quickly fall into debt.
What is available for purchase at this time is storage upgrades in Supermarket Simulator. However, it doesn’t seem to have any practical benefit and just helps the store look tidier overall.
On the plus side, the management screen says “more staff coming soon”, so players can expect the first additions to be staff who help refill goods in the supermarket.
